Location: Aimargues, France - near Montpellier (Occitanie region), with easy access to the Mediterranean coast and major transport hubs.
Segment: Royal Canin
Type of contract: Permanent
As SRM Manager, you will translate regional value creation strategies into concrete commercial impact at market level. You will lead pricing and promotional frameworks, steer trade investment allocation, and actively challenge commercial plans to maximize value creation across the P&L.
Acting as a strategic partner to Sales, Finance and Demand teams, you will influence key decisions throughout the annual planning cycle and represent SRM in S&OP forums. Your work will directly shape revenue growth, margin performance and long-term competitiveness.
What are we looking for?
- You bring 3+ years of experience in FMCG, ideally at the intersection of Sales, Finance or Demand, with exposure to revenue management topics.
- You have solid hands-on experience in SRM or Revenue Management, and understand pricing, promotions and trade investments levers.
- You combine strong analytical skills with real business proximity, turning data into clear commercial recommendations.
- You operate confidently in English & French, and can influence stakeholders across local and regional environments.
- You thrive in cross-functional settings and know how to challenge while building alignment with Sales and Finance teams.
- You are comfortable working independently and driving topics end-to-end with high ownership.
- You simplify complex concepts into pragmatic action plans that teams can execute.
- You actively drive change, challenge the status quo and mobilize teams behind clear growth ambitions.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- You deploy the regional SRM strategy and adapt it to the French market, defining clear priorities across Pricing, Promotions, Product Mix and Trade Investments.
- You analyse internal sales performance and external market data (e.g. GfK) to identify growth and margin opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- You define and optimize promotional investment allocation, ensuring strong ROI and performance tracking across channels.
- You allocate and monitor trade terms investments, guiding Sales teams on where and how to invest for maximum value creation.
- You integrate SRM principles into core business processes, including S&OP and annual planning cycles, to ensure disciplined and profitable execution.
- You act as a strategic business partner to Sales, Demand and Finance teams, challenging commercial plans and driving continuous optimization.
- You anticipate risks and opportunities linked to pricing and trade investments, and manage related escalations when needed.
- You contribute to the European SRM community, sharing best practices and strengthening SRM capabilities at local level.
